Publication Ethic

This journal follows guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in facing all aspects of publication ethics and, in particular, how to handle cases of research and publication misconduct.

PEER REVIEW

Each conference or journal whose content is published on the JP Platform has undergone academic peer review prior to submission. JP checks each submitted article against a set of criteria before agreeing to publish.

Following submission of final papers, JP submits these to further checks to ensure high standards are adhered to by the authors and editors.

PLAGIARISM

Whenever an academic scholar uses the ideas or findings previously published by another author, then proper credit should be given, usually by quoting a short passage from the original paper and then by a formal cited reference at the end of the paper. Even re-using one’s own previously published work should be acknowledged and cited in the same way.

JP routinely verifies the originality of content submitted using Similarity Check software (iThenticate powered by Crossref) to check submissions against previous publications.
